To open an account with Leeds Credit Union, you'll need to provide proof of identity and proof of address. This is a legal requirement to help prevent fraud and money laundering.
Acceptable proof of identity includes: valid passport, UK driving licence, or biometric residence permit.
Acceptable proof of address includes: utility bill (dated within 3 months), bank statement (dated within 3 months), council tax bill, or tenancy agreement. If you have difficulty providing these documents, please contact us — we may be able to accept alternatives.
